hp touchpad and webOS dead...

As many of you know hp has changed gears and will no longer follow the pc path...personal anyways. Which meant the webOS is at a stand still as of now. Im just curious as to how many of you even used webOS and how much development there really is. Also who actually bought or tried to buy a touchpad for $99 for a 16gb or 32gb counterpart for $149?
