Assembly code homework help?

Is it OK if I ask for homework help on these forums? I'm taking an assembly machine language class this semester and it's proving to be something I have no real interest in, therefore, giving me more headaches than expected. It would be awesome if I could, but OK if I can't. Just wanted to clarify before I started asking questions I'm not supposed to.
