Hello there! I’m a newbie in the forum and also new to the hacking realm.
Please forgive me if I’ve posted this in the wrong category but I need help!
Shoutout to @Erra I joined the forum 2 months ago, and the first thing that I clicked was on this post @Getting started with ClamAV Antivirus for Linux.
It saved me a few days ago when I ran it and found that two of my computers had been running some crypto web-based miners. The power bill was crazy high for the last two months!
As a newcomer to the hacking world, I was terrified by this but even more mind-blown by how everything ran without me noticing and how I ignored the small red flags that I saw which almost made me lose everything.
I knew these kinds of attacks happen, but what amazed me was how everything was automated "or so I think" Big smile and delivered over the local network.
I went through some YouTube videos but only got to understand the surface workings of the attack, which was kind of boring and shallow.
Are there any guides or resources where I can learn more about this kind of attack? Any kind of resource would be appreciated!
