Today I was using the MRI and the FACE downloading part stayed on 0% for quite some time, before I skipped it. Is the updating part disabled intentionally? I feel pretty confident it wasn't a problem with my internet connection, since I had just imaged the hard drive onto my local network with Acronis.

Just an FYI for everyone the new MRI has been released to the stores, only problem is that they haven't updates the gsforums with the changes so I have no idea what they did. But it's there.

Do you know anyway to boot MRI PE with PGP from cd? The only way I can from the MRI is from within Windows. The decryption does not let me see the hard drive booting from CD. For those who dont know what PGP is, its a hard disk encryption

So I'll get back to trying to get MRI to boot from USB later, but for now here's where I'm at:

I put the hard drive, which was giving a BSOD before I could do anything, as a slave hard drive into a second computer.

Can I use MRI on that slave disk (instead of the master hard drive of this second computer)? And if so, how?

I'm after a copy of the CCE codec for converting .AVIs to DVDs, as I've heard it greatly improves the output. Anyone know where I can download this, or anyone have a copy?

This has been extremely helpful in customizing WIN 7 (all versions) on the fly..... Enjoy!

To enter "GodMode," one need only create a new folder and then rename the folder to the following:

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Once that is done, the folder's icon will change to resemble a control panel and will contain dozens of control options. I'm not sure it's my idea of playing God, but it is a handy way to get to all kinds of controls.

Has anyone been able to isolate this program from the new customizer? I usually add the tweaks to the customizer using powerISO, but cannot seem to find it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone know of a good program that allows you to crop (commercials) and compress Windows Media Center (Windows 7) video files? I have tried many programs (Roxio, Nero, Pinnacle Studio 12) to try converting the files to .AVI and compress them like the TV files from torrents and never come close to the video file size nor the quality of 175MB/350MB TV show torrent files. Any one have any suggestions of programs to use?

I've used AutoGK for my dvd rips for years and had great compression quality but I can not find anything to get TVs looking like they do from torrent?

I am trying to put the updated virus defs in my MRI iso. I basically drag and drop the new folders and replace the old folders (Diagnostic&Malware). Then I burn my iso and boot my MRI just fine. Thing is when I do a LASER scan nothing happens. It runs Asquared and thats it.(from boot and desktop) Using PowerISO__win7. Help. Thanks
