Guy at work brought this in the other day and ask me what I thought. Could be a very handy tool
for cleaning up factory junk quickly.

Upon launch, it immediately established MANY ip connections to outside sources. Inherently, this make me uncomfortable.

I did not spend much time tracking down where the connections where going, only that it was myriad and it was not connections to one or two places. I killed it.

Anyone used/investigated this software enough to comment?

So, I've been tinkering with multiAVs for some time, and while Hitmanpro.nl will always have my heart, Metascan seems to be it's big brother. I'd love to see if anyone thinks the same. This may be the be-all/end-all AV for our toolkits.

First, let me apologize if this should go in another section of the forum.

A few weeks ago, I had to recover some form submission data for a friend. The typical story, you know: they spent 30+ minutes typing out a response in a forum/Wordpress/etc and when they hit Submit/Post/Reply, they got a "Server not found" or "connection reset" error. Pressing the back key, they hoped to find the data still there, as sometimes Firefox will save it.

Alas, they were unable to recover it, were too pissed to type it all up again, and so I got a phone call. I know a lot of you would know how to do this, but I am sure some other users do not. This is pretty easy and will introduce people to Hex Editors who may have never used them.

First, there are a few things this method assumes:

1) That you do not have an extension, ala Lazarus, installed.
2) That you have not rebooted the computer
3) You have not closed the application (or it closed itself)

I'm looking to get an iso / installer for Office 2007. An installer that will work with all versions (retail) versions. Something clean. I don't need any keys or cracks or anything. So far all I have really found is just individual installers. I'm trying to cut down on space on a disk I'm making to hold the installers for Office. Not sure if Microsoft even made an installer for any version, or if all they did was individual installers per version. Also, if an iso isnt available, but a guide to make my own all version installer is, a link would be cool and ill make my own installer.

Alright clear and close all running apps & games for a minute. Now I want you to copy this code down just (exactly) as I have pasted it here, see below.

Now copy it to your mouse and hold it in you mouse, now right click in any open area and scrool to new folder, when it appears the name of the folder name (still blue) paste that code as the name of the folder. Now when your done right click off to the side an icon will appear and the folder will transform into a panel. Now if you have done this correctly you are now a GOD.

Only tested on Windows 7, and if your wiling to try this on any other OS please post results, Thank you.

Hello everyone i been doing some research on how to make a multi bootable disc of antiviruses i have seen quite of few tools out there but the only thing is there are a few more tools i would like to add to the project which cant because they were only made to boot otheres. Well one of the tools i came apawn was sardu.it its a awsome tool that some guy named david created which made a multi boot of a bunch of rescue discs the only thing is it says u can install extras and what they mean by that is create menu lists and all that programming stuff which i dont know how to do.
